Description
As a California native with parents from East L.A, we have always been Dodger fans. I have so many memories: My parents lived five miles away from Dodger Stadium — just drive down Eastern, take a left on Huntington Drive, a right on Broadway and another right on Stadium Way. My mama and my Tia’s worked at the stadium concession stand back in the 70’s — they even met Tommy Lasorda. Watching countless games at home as a kid, it was L.A. all day as we listened to Vin Scully’s supportive commentary. Oh, the excitement of Kirk Gibson’s home run in the 1988 World Series. Heading to the stadium with friends and family, drinking micheladas and eating peanuts, doing the seventh-inning stretch. And finally, watching the boys in blue win the 2020 World Series! I have so many good feelings associated the Dodgers, please let me have my nostalgia moment.
I wanted to make this limited edition design available on a tee for all my fellow Dodger fans to celebrate their 2020 World Series win. You will also receive an 8 x 10 original print of the El Chavez Ravine Loteria art included with your order.
Limited Edition El Chavez Ravine Loteria Tee
This is a limited edition run, I won’t be carrying this tee in my shop for long, so if you want one, now is the time to grab it! To make it easy on my mental health, I’ll be offering it in black only. Please send me a message if you need a size larger than 3X. All tees will be sourced from a local print shop here in the I.E. I will close the ordering for this tee on 11/9 and will print all tees after that. Thank you for your patience and thank you so much for supporting your local artist.
Much love and respect for the Mexican families that lived in the Chavez Ravine and were forcibly removed from their homes in 1959 so the land could be cleared for Dodger Stadium to be built. We see you and we honor you.
