Pearmama is thrilled to announce the acquisition of three works of art by renowned Chicano art collector Cheech Marin in August 2023. We appreciate Marin’s generous support of Denise and her work + his continued support of femme Chicano/a/x artists. In addition to Cheech, we would also like to thank Maria Esther Fernandez, Artistic Director of The Cheech and Melissa Richardson Banks of CauseConnect for facilitating this acquisition.
Warriors in the Chamomile was shown in Silva’s solo exhibition “Innerspace” at Pain Sugar Gallery in Riverside in 2022.
Elementals was shown at the Ontario Museum of History & Art for The Art of Healing: Holistic Expressions exhibit in the 4th gallery in 2024.
